Citrus Pound Cake

1 Cup (2 sticks) Butter, softened
1/2 Cup Shortening
3 Cups Granulated Sugar
5 Eggs
2 Teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
3 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1/2 Cup Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
1/2 Cup Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
1 Tablespoon Orange Zest
1 Tablespoon Lemon Zest
Cream butter & shortening with sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla. Alternate between adding the flour and juices, ending with flour. Add the zests, mix well. Grease and flour a cake pan and bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 1 hour and 20-30 minutes. Insert a long wooden skewer and when it comes out clean, it's done.
